CIV: What’s your favorite part as a millennial working in this emerging green industry?

Danielle: I love being able to facilitate a sense of community between the local cannabis community. I truly believe in the power of cannabis for wellness, and with EvergreenOrganix I love being able to create strategic partnerships within the cannabis community.

CIV: What do you think has impacted the rising trend of millennial marijuana use?

Danielle: I think its education. Most of us were raised under the anti-drug propaganda from the 80s and early 90s, which we now know is untrue, so as research, legalization and information comes to the forefront, there’s been a dramatic drop in the perceived risk associated with consuming cannabis among young adults.

CIV: On April 6, you’ll be participating in the Las Vegas Medical Marijuana Association panel featuring top millennials in the cannabis industry. What are some of the topics you’ll discuss?

Danielle: The whole concept behind the talk is to really share practical information that cannabis entrepreneurs can use to better engage with the millennial market. Our generation is often overlooked because “traditional” methods of advertising just don’t work. Along with the other panelists, we’ll be sharing our insider tips and strategies on connecting and engaging this tech savvy generation.
